There has been a lot of talk lately about how Facebook only show posts to about 1% of a page’s fan base.. This is particularly bad for animal rescues and shelters who rely on social media shares to spread the word about adoptable animals. There is now a way for your fans to make sure they see your posts everyday – but it does take a little work on their part. It is very easy to do, however, so I made a brief tutorial. I’d love if you’d share this so more non profits and rescues can have their posts reach greater numbers of fans and Facebookers.
For mobile phones, here is a screenshot of what it looks like to change your settings so an organization shows up first:
Click on the button next to “Like” – it usually says “Following” – when you select that, it will give you 3 options – “Unfollow” “Default” and “See First”. Pick the one you’d like, and you’re all set!
Desktops and laptops are similar – here is a video.
Again – I’d love if you’d share this so we can help more organizations get their info seen!
