My specialty is helping people and organizations keep things positive and embrace hope – even in the midst of chaos. I am available for both speaking and consulting (and there are discounts for animal rescue organizations). Check out my TEDx talk on Social Media and the Power of Virtual Communities for an example of my topics: TEDx
1) Healing through the outdoors. After losing my husband unexpectedly due to an ice fishing accident in 2013, I started on a
journey of healing by embracing outdoor adventure, facing my fears, and living life to the fullest.
2) How to deal with suddenly being the in the middle of social media chaos – both in your business and your personal life. Whether this is managing your business in the midst of personal tragedy or social media scrutiny, or dealing with your personal social media life when tragedy strikes – I have intense personal and professional experience with all of these situations. I have been there, I know how to approach all of these situations, and I will help you navigate the ins and outs of chaos.
3) How to move forward and create good out of the bad. Looking for inspiration for your group or organization on how to move forward after a tragedy occurs? After losing my husband tragically in an accident in 2013 (while in the middle of social media chaos because of a photo that has been called the most viral photo of all time) I know first hand how to create good out of horrible circumstances.
4) Storytelling with a higher purpose. How to tell your story to your potential clients, customers, or donors – and make a difference. Creating social media strategy to connect with your audience is my strength, and I can help facilitate brainstorming sessions to bring out the stories that matter most to your potential clients.
